Parent/Child Dedication

A beautiful moment for families. Mother’s Day, May 10th.

Church family,

This Wednesday night is our children’s presentation at 6:00 PM. It marks the end of an incredible year in children’s and youth ministry. I want you to know what has been happening on this campus every Wednesday night. It is not uncommon to have a hundred kids on the grounds, from babies through youth. A hundred. In Wisner, Louisiana. That does not happen by accident.

Bailey Ware kept our children’s ministry moving all year long. She showed up week after week, planned and prepared, and made sure every child who walked through those doors knew they were loved. Jeremy Ware was right beside her as a vital assistant. Kam Harper brought the passion to our youth and Hailey Harper brought the organization that held it all together. Joni Fontenot spearheaded our Wednesday night meal team, with Jody when he’s here, and a crew that fed this church faithfully: Brooke Ezell, Yvonne Blount, Kendra Williams, Connie Cox, Dorothy Young, and Sarrah Williams. These people gave hours every single week so that families could gather, kids could eat, and the gospel could be taught.

Thank you. What you did this year matters more than you know. Come Wednesday night and see the fruit of it.
