Church family,
Last Sunday we ended where the Teacher ends chapter 6. Who knows what is good? We do not. More money, more years, more of everything, and the heart stays hungry. Never enough.
This Sunday God shows us. Ecclesiastes 7 is His answer to our not knowing. He points to the house of mourning over the house of feasting. He slows our anger and steadies our hearts. He teaches us to enjoy the good day and trust Him in the bad one.
Come Sunday. Bring someone who needs to hear that God knows what is good, even when we do not.

September · Final Week · Louisiana Missions Offering
Georgia Barnette
This is the final week. Every dollar stays in Louisiana. The 2026 state goal is $1.8 million.
This year’s work includes Boxes of Hope, a women’s prison ministry; Vietnamese Hope Baptist Church; New Friendship Baptist Church as it is being rebuilt; and Church Acadiana. The offering also plants churches, serves meals after storms, helps congregations build, trains ministers, and puts the gospel on the air.
