Church family,
I did not hear Kam preach Sunday. I was in the nursery and Pre-K. Every report that reached me said he did great.
Here is what I saw down the hall. Three new children in Pre-K, from families new to our church. On a calm fall break Sunday. God is sending us families.
Here is what we need most: nursery and Pre-K workers. A new family learns whether this church has room for them in those two rooms. When their children are cared for, the family feels welcome. That takes all of us who call FBC Wisner home.
If you can take a turn, tell me on Sunday, or call the office at (318) 724-6148.
We are also hiring a paid childcare worker, up to five hours a week. The full description and the application are on the church website at fbcwisner.org/childcare-worker.html. If you know someone who would love our children well, send that person to the page. And one reminder for everyone who serves with our children, paid or volunteer: anyone who works with our children must pass a background check.
In the Peace of Christ,
Pastor Garrison
