A word from the pastor, an introduction to Abbie’s post, and a look at what’s coming up at FBC.

This week: Sunday Worship, “Take Courage,” Acts 23 with Pastor Garrison (May 24, 9:45 AM), Memorial Day, Office Closed (May 25), Baby Shower for Madison Hill (June 6, expecting twins), Summer Small Group kickoff at the Smith home (June 10, 6:30 PM, weekly). Pre-K and Media volunteers needed this Sunday and through the summer. No Wednesday night activities. Jessica in office Mon–Fri, 8 AM–12 PM summer hours.

Wednesday nights have gotten harder. Our volunteer pool is thin, the need is real, and if we don’t address it together, families and children keep paying the price. Come Wednesday at 6 for our town hall business meeting — we’ll figure this out together.

Church family, this Wednesday night is our children's presentation at 5:30 PM. It marks the end of an incredible year in children's and youth ministry. A hundred kids on the grounds every Wednesday night, from babies through youth. In Wisner, Louisiana. That does not happen by accident.

This week: Children's Presentation (May 6, 5:30 PM), Parent/Child Dedication (May 10), Business Meeting (May 13, 6:00 PM), Food Bank (May 21 & 23)

Church family, what a week it has been. Senior Sunday is this Saturday, May 3rd. Our children's presentation is Tuesday evening, May 6th at 5:30 PM. Parent/Child Dedication Sunday is May 10th. We have a full calendar and a grateful congregation.
